Our Story
Once upon a time, there was a young man named Earnpin Lee, from Kluang, Johor, Malaysia. Born with a great sense of adventure, his biggest love was his bicycle, which he faithfully took to his favourite hangouts, as well as to the farthest corners of his hometown. This love for discovery was closely followed by a passion for animals. As a boy, Pin, as he's known among friends, used to cut out animal-related newspaper articles and stick them into his school books. He also kept exotic pets, innocently thinking that they'd be better off with him than in the wild.

Fast-forward about 20 years, and Pin's all grown up. He's still riding his bike all over the place, but these days, his trusty steed takes him across countries and even continents. He's also well aware that animals should be left in their natural habitat, and that many are endangered because of habitat loss and poaching. So, by combining his love for adventure, animal conservation, and a knack for all things related to the Web, Pin founded an online travel guidebook company that aims to serve free-spirited and animal-loving people like himself.

Although he set things in motion, Pin hasn't done it all on his own. He has had the privilege of working with a great team, like his buddies Wanching, Yowchuan, Lina and Chinseng, who were with him from the start. Then, there were all the writers, mappers, proofreaders and animal lovers from around the world who've made valuable contributions to the project. His a4trip team continues to grow with the addition of newer team members like Adline, Ryanne and Agnes.

Always one to sing praises for his team, Pin says, "I appreciate everyone I've worked with and their help. Their contribution is what makes a4trip what it is." Best of all, if you're passionate about people and places, and if you like a4trip, you too can be a part of the team!

The Name
A4trip. How on earth did we come up with a name like that? We wish we had a fancy story to tell you, but it's really quite simple. Our guidebooks are best printed on A4-sized paper you see, so we thought we'd call ourselves that - so there.
Our Guidebooks
Planning to see the world? You'll need a guidebook. A4trip can save you the hassle of finding the right one, because ours are available right at your fingertips. Designed to be compact, for easy transportation and storage, our electronic guidebooks also reflect upon our efforts to help reduce paper usage for printing and publication. Print them out on both sides, print them on used paper, or don't print them at all - the choice is yours. Best of all, with our guidebooks, you can make plans and get more out of your holiday experience in an instant!
Future Plans
So, what's in store for a4trip? To put it simply, we plan to take over the world. Our ultimate goal would be to come up with a guidebook for every conceivable travel destination on the planet, but as that's a massive undertaking, we're going to take it one step at a time. We're proud to say that we've been growing from strength to strength with the help of our dedicated team, and of course, our fabulous customers. With their support, our dream of raising awareness for animal conservation around the world is also becoming a reality.
