Pearly lives in Penang, Malaysia. As a born and bred Penangite, she knows by heart the local Chinese, Indian Eurasian and Malay culture which is described in this book.
She is also the writer of http://www.my-island-penang.com in which she describes the many different cultural aspects and events of Penang. Apart of that she has reserved a substantial part of the website to her personal history on heritage, historic and cultural enclave.
She hope to rekindles, remembers the memories and persons who has touched her live very much.
She did so because she believe IT important for them to know such things about their family and they are ones who are consider "living Saints" in my country of birth, Penang.
